2.PRONOUN (సర్వ నామము) :

A pronoun is a word, used in the place of a noun.

నామవాచకానికి బదులుగా వాడ బడే దానిని సర్వనామము అని అంటారు.)

Examples:

   He, They, I, My, You, Yours, She, it etc.

1.   Sita is a Teacher and she is a good singer also.

2.   Rahul is a good cricket player in his team.

పై వాకాా లలో

Sita కు బదులుగా వాడబడిన she,

Rahul  కు బదులుగా వాడబడిన his, సరవ  నామములు (pronouns).

 

Pronouns మొత్తం తొమ్మిది రకాలుగా విభజింపవచ్చు :

 

1. Personal Pronouns : మనుష్యుల పేర్లకు బదులుగా పాడతారు. ఇవి 1st person, 2nd person, 3rd person అని మూడు రూపములుగా ఉన్నాయి.

First person (ఉత్తమ పురుష) తనను గురించి చెప్పేవి.

EX ; We,I, My, Me etc.

Second person (మధ్య పురుష) ఎదుటవానిని గురించి చెప్పేవి.

Ex : You, Yours. 

Third person (ప్రధమ పురుష) ఎక్కడో వున్న వానిని గూర్చి చెప్పేవి.

Ex : He, She, it, Him, Her, Hers, They, Them,

2. Demonstrative Pronouns : ఫలానా అని వస్తువుల గురించి ప్రత్యేకముగా చెప్పడానికి వాడతారు.

Ex: This (ఇది), That. (అది), These (ఇవి), Those (అవి), Such, as one.

3. Interrogative Pronouns: ప్రశ్నలు వేయుటకు ఉపయో గిస్తారు.

Ex : Who (ఎవరు), Whom (ఎవరిని), Which (ఏది), What (ఏమిటి), Whose (ఎవరియొక్క).

4. Relative Pronouns : రెండు వాక్యములను కలుపుటకు వాడతారు.

Ex : ప్రశ్నలు వేయుటకుపయోగించిన Who, Whom. Which, What, Whose లు కాక that, as but లు కూడా ఉపయోగిస్తారు.

5. Reflexive Pronouns : ఒక పని యొక్క ఫలి తమును ఆ పనిచేయు వారే పొందినపుడు వీటిని వాడ తారు.

Ex: Myself, Yourself, Itself, Himself, Ourselves, Yourselves, Yjemselves, Herself, Thyself.

6. Distributive Pronouns :  మనుష్యులను గాని, వస్తువు లను గాని, "ఒక్కొక్కటిగా తీసుకోవడానికి వాడతారు.

Ex : either, neither, each.

7. Reciprocal Pronouns : పరస్పరము ఒక పనిని ఒకరికో కరు చేయుచున్నట్లు తెలియజేయుటకు వాడుదురు.

Ex: One another, Each other.

8. Possessive Pronouns : ఒక Adjectiveకు ఒక nounకు ఈ pronouns సమానము.

Ex : mine. Our

 

9. Indefinite Pronouns : ఫలానా వస్తువు, ఫలానా వకి అన నిర్దిష్టంగా సూచించకుండా ఏదో ఒక వస్తువును. వ్యక్తిని గురించి ఇన్ డెఫినిటవ్ ప్రొనౌన్స్ తెలియ చేస్తాయి.

 

EX : anyone, someone, any, no one, none, anybody, anything, some, somebody, nobody, every body, few, many, others, all.
